A mothers love God gave to me
For this I'll be grateful for eternity
I know that in Heaven, a place
waits for thee
One day together, we'll reunite
in perfect harmony


You haven't left us, for you will
be in the smiles of my children and
the light in their eyes
Your beauty reflecting from their
beautiful faces remind me that there
would never have been enough time to
say our final goodbyes
Never enough time to prepare for the
emptiness and our questions of Why?

God needed another perfect Rose for
His Heavenly Garden
So our selfishness of wanting to keep
you here forever, He'll surely pardon
When the sun is setting in the
far west
We'll think loving thoughts of you and
know that you gave us your
very best

So rest my dear mother and give your
blessing to us all
Watch over us, guide us through the coming
years and when we're in darkness,
please hear our call
Oh dear Mama as you well know
we weren't prepared to let you go
Our hearts are so heavy, this
seems all wrong
How do we go forward without your
presences to keep us strong?

Tell daddy we love him and think
of him each day
He'll be so happy to see you and will
guide you on your way
When our days here come to an end
It's comforting to know that in Heaven,
there awaits us our best friend
So go with God now, no more pain
nor sorrow
We'll join you one day in that beautiful
tomorrow
